This is a Conceptual art piece I made during my thesis year at the School of Art, University of Manitoba, in 1978. The non-representational sculpture was created over a two week period, documenting the materials and details of its construction. After two weeks of existing it was lowered, carried to a site off campus and buried. The piece raises the questions of purpose, permanence, creation and mortality.
